Call attention to the pictures in the book showing how to play the game. Say, You will draw a picture of someone working. Other students will ask questions about the kind of job you are drawing. After two questions someone can try to guess the job.

Demonstrate by drawing a picture on the board of a stick figure reporter. Add details (microphone, notebook,etc.) until students guess what job it is.

Ask a student to go to the board. Say, Draw a picture of a person working. If necessary, help the student add details that show the job the person is doing. He or she can add a bank interior to show that the person is a bank clerk. A student could also use an eye chart on the wall to show that the place is a doctor's office and the person is a doctor.

Ask two different students to ask questions about the Job, and then ask a third student to guess what job it is.

Play the game using drawings by several different students.

形容词比较等级(Ⅰ)形容词比较等级的规则变化和不规则变化。本单元只介绍单音节形容词和少数双音节形容词的变化:

1)一般在词尾加-er或-est,分别构成比较级和级。例如: small----smaller----smallest。

2)以字母e结尾的形容词,加-r或-st,例如:nice----nicer----nicest。

3)重读闭音节词尾只有一个辅音字母时,双写这个辅音字母,再加-er或-est。例如:big----bigger----biggest。

4)以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节形容词。改y为i,再加-er或-est。例如: easy----easier----easiest。

从集体备课、导学案的设计 、作业的选取、作业的批改、教学反思等都体现了老师们踏踏实实的工作作风。备课确定的必备内容,如:第一单元的口语训练是和本单元话题有关的对话,作业要求对本单元基础知识进行考查;第二单元的口语训练是和本单元有关的一篇短文,这篇短文同时也是为写作服务的,作业要求是阅读、完形填空或者选词填空,和中考接轨;写作案要求从字—词—句—段—文入手。备课组内尽可能做到了信息畅通,资源共享,集思广益,互相合作,充分发挥集体备课的优势。

二、努力改进课堂教学方法,提高课堂效率。

老师们根据自己的计划,采取了具体的行动,尽最大的努力使工作精细化,具体化。如韩三霞老师词汇记忆的落实,张磊老师课文背诵、学生讲题的落实,并进行课堂教学的小分层,作业的分层,课后的个别辅导,一个一个小目标的落实等,老师们具体做了以下努力:

1。 狠抓词汇量:词汇量的多少直接影响到学生的英语水平,所以我们始终把抓词汇的过关作为学习英语的重点工作来抓。我们按模块整理英语教材的重点词汇、重点句子、句型及语法归类,按单元整理,然后印发给学生,要求学生记忆、理解每一模块的重点词汇、词组及语法,通过抓基础知识提高学生的阅读、写作能力。

2、强化阅读的训练: 在抓基础的同时,对阅读与写作进行了强化训练。阅读训练: 每天坚持读1篇文章,分题材,每阶段重点练会各种题型和题材,教授学生做阅读理解和完形填空的技巧,让学生在训练中体验做题技巧,从而达到会做题会阅读的目的。

3、强化写作训练:每一个模块都有一个话题和语法点,根据此话题和语法点给学生准备了写作导学案,通过导学案对学生进行字—词—句—段—文的写作输入工作,然后布置写作内容,批改、示范点评,让学生取长补短,不断提高写作水平。

4、强化听力训练: 充分利用早自习系统地对学生进行了十五套模拟听力题的训练,并集中指导听了几套有代表性的综合听力应试题,以便使学生熟悉题型,适应语速,灵活把握技巧。课堂上还根据所学内容和话题,设计合适的听力问题,培养学生听的能力。

5。学校后一个阶段提出了生本课堂,就是把课堂还给学生,学生能自己学会的老师不讲,学生能教会学生的老师不讲,老师讲解的是学生共同出现的问题。这样的课堂既提高了学习效率,又培养了学生自学和及和他人合作的能力。这个方法很好,但由于刚接触,难免有点把握不准,不敢大胆的放手给学生,这种方法还需以后继续摸索学习。杜老师生本课堂做得很好,是我们学校的榜样。

三、期中、月考进行质量分析并从中找出提升空间:

质量分析的目的是总结好的经验。每次考试后, 都要进行横向纵向比较,分析考试的得与失,每次都对各题型的得失情况进行详尽的分析,明白教学的差距在哪,教师本身的教学策略是否需要调整、怎么调整、学生的潜力在哪等,从而找到师生提升的空间,实现整体进步

总之,八年级英语组教育教学工作任务能圆满完成得益于学校的正确领导,那么多有经验的老师的帮助。而且本组人员互相合作,不断探讨科学的教学方法,为学生的进步打下良好的基础。

一、学过的单词,老师要求背出,学生总是借口其他作业太多,没时间背,往后一拖再拖,即便能背出来,也是临时死记抢记出来的。等到其他需要的时候又忘了已学过的知识。

二、上过的新课,相应的配套练习,不自觉去独立完成,总希望老师和他们一起来做。有的甚至只是为了应付老师布置并要上交的作业的任务,就直接抄袭他人的答案,不管正确与否。

三、在英语学习中,必须死记硬背的东西有点多,关联的东西不多,因此表面上看感觉还可以,但真正一考起来,问题就出来的很多,而且差距也很大。比如在最近这次月考中,问题就明显出来了,尖子生不是很多,落后面比较大。

针对以上情况,要改变这种局面,我觉的要做的事很多。首先,要培养学生良好的学习习惯,课前多预习,课堂45分钟让学生集中注意力听讲,把老师讲的内容真正听懂。不是似懂非懂。课后认真完成配套练习,不懂的地方,多向老师或成绩好的学生请教。并且多多督促成绩较差的学生自己主动完成作业,而不是去抄袭他人的答案。其次,学生学习要主次分明,主要学科课后时间分配相应的应当多一些,特别是对英语学科,因为它毕竟不是自己的母语,在学习过程中多少有点困难。但是如果现在基础不打好的话,以后想要提高的话就更难了。第三,要让学生灵活掌握学过的知识点,学习要讲究方法,举一反三,融会贯通,只有这样,学生才能把所学的知识串联起来,不容易忘记。

总之,要让学生明白,学习英语不是一天两天的事,是要靠平时慢慢积累起来的。而且也要让学生知道学习主要是在于自己的主动性。
